SPIC processes about 75,000 ton recycled PET annually into high quality end products. In addition, SPIC is developing a new chemical recycling process for PET as well. Recycling PET can save up to 50% CO2 emissions per KG PET in comparison to virgin PET made from oil.
100% biobased PET
SPIC develops a unique 100% biobased PET polymer with different partners. During the plant growth CO2 is taken up, reducing the amount of CO2 emissions needed to make biobased polymers.
