In Emmen a wide range of key technologies for the production of polymers and processing of polymers is available. At the industrial facilities we start with polymerization and post condensation (SSP). We can make products from all kinds of thermoplastics by processes such as compounding, injection moulding, yarn spinning, and 3D printing.

The Emmen cluster started the production of polymers and fibers already in the 1950s and ’60s under the name of AKU and AKZO.  Therefore we can say to literally have decades of experience in this field.
