SPIC Facilities B.V. is investing in a fully equipped new multiflament spinning machine. On this pilot line both techincal yarns as textile yarns can be made. As we can use our bicomponent extruder set up with two different sized extruders we can offer a wide variety in througput and linear density (dtex/denier).

The machine can be used to develop fiber spinning grades from new (bio)polymers or recycled polymers, both for techncial applications as textiles. In an offline second step we can cut the yarns up to specification for e.g. staple fiber applications or we can texturize the yarns.

Bico extruder:
– Extruder A: Ø 50 mm, max. throughput 40 kg/h, max. temperature 450 °C, compression ratio 2.0,
2.75 or 3.25
– Extruder B: Ø 32 mm, max. throughput 10 kg/h, max. temperature 450 °C, compression ratio 2.0,
2.75 or 3.25

Spin pack:
– Ø 110 or Ø60 (with insert)
– mono or bico (skin-core, islands in the sea, side by side,  and many other bico options)
– filtration with a single use filter

Blow box, chimney and optionally a quench collar.

Draw panel:
– 4 heated duo’s
– Speed up to 4500 m/min
– Drawing temperature up to 230 °C
Winding up to 2500 m/min.

This multiflament spinning line will be operation as of Q2 2021. Please contact us if you are interested in performing trials on this fully equipped line!
