Various techniques are available for the determination of the amount of moisture in materials prior to processing. The first option is an infrared moisture analyser. This machine has a balance and infrared heater, which can autonomously measure moisture content in small samples. The second and third option are both ovens (ventilation or vacuum) combined with an external balance for heat sensitive materials, non-destructive measurements or larger complete products.
