The Zwick UPM is a universal testing machine for uni-axial force/displacement testing. Various load cells allow for accurate measurements from a few newton up to 100kN. For accurate displacement measurements the machine is equipped with both extension and flexural measurement devices as well as the possibility to connect strain gauges.

The various testing jigs allow for measurement of tensile, compression and flexural forces on a wide variety of samples (from thin papers or foils up to thick composite laminates or products).
