Innofil3D is the largest manufacturer in Europe with an exclusive focus on filaments for FDM printing. The company produces high-value customized filaments (long, thin plastic fibers) that are used in fused filament fabrication, a special 3D printing process that manufactures items layer by layer from meltable plastic. Innofil 3D has developed a broad product portfolio, for which it selects the best raw materials available from renowned suppliers. All their products are 100% traceable to the source.
The R&D team constantly works on new filaments in cooperation with the research company Senbis Polymer Innovations. Their drive is to identify the perfect filament for their customers application.
The company started in 2012, when it made the first monofilament for 3D printing upon request of a printer manufacturer. End of 2015, Innofil3D invested in new production equipment. Computer controlled machinery combined with many years of experience deliver reliable, accurate and consistent filament.
In 2017 Innofil3D has been acquired by BASF New Business to strengthen the BASF 3D Printing Solutions team.
