Within SPIC-Emmen, two facilities offer large scale compounding services:

Compounding at Cumapol

To upgrade polyesters and to obtain the required properties for your application, we have the knowledge and equipment to produce compounds based on flakes or virgin polyesters. To secure the highest quality end-product, a twin-screw vacuum extruder with melt filtration and accurate dosing equipment for powders, dyes, masterbatches and/or other polymers is used. Our maximum capacity is 45 tons per day.

 

Compounding at Morssinkhof

Regranulation is used to decontaminate, degass, homogenize or simply increase bulk density. Besides the contract regranulation of the commodities LDPE, HDPE, PP, PS and PET, Morssinkhof can also take care of contract compounding of technical plastics like ABS, PC, PBT and PA. Modern compounding and dosing techniques make it possible to change the characteristics of the plastics by adding masterbatch, additives and fillers.
