Technical yarn spin-draw-winding (SDW) spinning machine

This pilot plant machine is ideal to upscale research efforts for yarns. It gives an accurate idea of the production possibilities. Also it allows you to produce a few hundred kg or even a few MT of yarn that can be used for application tests.

This dowtherm-heated spinning machine has a rectangular spinneret and a cross-flow quench. Extrusion temperatures up to 350 °C can be used. Throughput up to 50 kg/hour. Maximum winding speed up to 5000 m/min. Standard set-up draw field: godet/idler roller – steam jet – godet/idler roller – duo – godet/idler roller. The last godet can be heated (for low shrinkage yarns) or water-cooled (for high modulus yarns). It is also possible to use an additional godet for relaxation. Drawing temperatures up to 240 °C.
